Hello Friends ~
I just thought I'd join the blogging age. (Cindi did dang it so I gotta...) :-P
Anyway, I really don't have a ton of reasons for setting up this blog besides it's here for when I need to rant. So, if you want to submit yourself to my *mega coolness*, just check me out here. 
Well... since I'm here and writing anyway, I will start off officially by sharing that today, 3/28/08 is the 6 year anniversary of my father's passing. I miss him more than I can even begin to write. Today pretty much sucks is my point. For all of you who still have your father in their life...do me a personal favor and be sure to call and tell him that you love him. I'd give anything to have the chance to say that to my dad even just one more time.

Christiana - I know this is always a tough day for you. I don't think I have to tell you this but your dad was a wonderful man and he was lucky to have a daughter that loved him so much.

I too know that this is always a hard time for you each year. Please know my heart is with you always. What brings a small smile to my face is that this is also (approximately) the time of year that we met. You know, when you tried to pick me up online, hahahaha. Okay, so I only thought that for a minute. I quickly realized that you were (are) an awesome gal that was (are) totally, 100% into your (then) boyfriend, Mike. In these six years, you have (and Mike) have become very special people in my life. I love you like a little sister (separated at birth...10 years apart) and I look forward to reading Chica Pants Rants in the future.
Dad is much missed always and for so many reasons - his beef jerky, his sense of humor, his wisdom and more. His passing most certainly left an unfillable void, but know that there are many of us who love you dearly! Even though we can never take his place, we're here for you always.
